Women's Ministries* Monday, December 5th 2011 - unlimited Women of Worth - Annual Christmas Party at the Monarch Theatre (downtown Medicine Hat) at 7 pm. Cost for program $5. Come for an evening of "The Gifts of Christmas" - with a gift wrapping feature (Big Oak Baskets & Gifts), hot cider, door prizes, & a movie "The Ultimate Gift" (featuring James Garner). Proceeds will go to "adopt-a-family" (or several families) for Christmas. Please join us - all church & community ladies welcome (ages 12 & up please). W.O.W. unlimited Women of Worth begins a new season the week of September 11th, 2011. Join us on a day that suits you, in a group that fits you, at a time when you are available. All ages welcome, newcomers may join anytime. MONDAYS Discovery Play Group 9:30 - 11:30 am in the Gym (Entrance 1): A place for children ages 0 - 5 & their parents/grandparents/guardians to come & play. Different activities planned for each week - including bouncy castles, story time, music, crafts, & more! You are responsible for your own child while at play group. Evenings 7 - 9 pm in Room 104 (Entrance 5): Learn to experience God every day in this "Through the Bible in One Year" study called God Sightings. Weekly readings include Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms & Proverbs.
TUESDAYS Evenings 7 - 9 pm in Room 104 - Finished until January 10th, 2012. Join us for a new study then! WEDNESDAYS Mornings 9:30 - 11:30 am in the Coffee House. Childcare is provided for children ages 0 - 5. Meet together for open session at 9:30 then choose one of the following Bible study groups: Parenting Beyond Your Capacity - this book provides a practical & revolutionary approach to the responsibility of parenting. Engage your family in a bigger story that involves more than just your family - one that involves other influences who are on a journey to discover why a relationship with God really matters. God Sightings - Learn to experience God every day in this "Through the Bible in One Year" study. Weekly readings include Old & New Testament, Psalms & Proverbs. Fit & Fulfilled - Beginning with exercise for the body, then into exercise for the soul. Work out at your own pace, then study the Bible book of James with other women. David - Seeking a Heart Like His - an in-depth Beth Moore dvd study on the life of David. See how his life clearly demonstrates that God is always able to reach us, correct us, & reclaim our worship. The Power of a Praying Parent - Pray specifically for your children/grandchildren through each stage of life. ** Final day December 7th, 2011 (Christmas Party). Then breaking until January 11, 2012 - Join us for new studies then!
THURSDAYS Morning Prayer Cell Groups - Meeting at various locations in the city - get together for Bible study & prayer time. Call the church for specific details. Afternoons - 1 - 3:30 pm in Room 104: The Prayer That Changes Everything - the Hidden Power of Praising God, by Stormie Omartian. Discover how your life can change every time you praise God. Coffee is on at 1; study begins at 1:30 pm. Evenings WWLM (Women Who Love Movies) 7 pm in Welcome Lounge Meeting the FIRST Thursday of each month (begins Oct 6th) Come for a movie & conversation! NOTE: December 2011 WWLM Cancelled so you can join us at The Monarch Theatre, Monday, Dec 5th at 7 pm for our Annual Women of Worth Christmas Party! Cost for the evening $5.
