Meet Our Team

Biography

I come from a family that put a big emphasis on church and more specifically missions as I have grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles in various places of ministry around the world. From as far back as I can remember I have always had a heart for missions. However, growing up in the church I became dissatisfied. From my perspective what I was hearing and what I was seeing lived out were in many ways two very different things. That’s where God has given me a heart to see the church doing what Jesus did. I long to see us reaching out to others and meeting tangible need because of our love for other and Christ’s love for us. God has blessed me with my wife Karen, two children Owen and Mckenna, along with many opportunities to serve Him around the world. As a new member of the Hillcrest team I am looking forward to see what God is going to do through his people in Medicine Hat, our area, and the world.
